Gong-Tze-Louw battery Gong-Tze-Louw
battery was built in Ching Dynasty, located at the northwestern of
Keelung City. This ancient battery is as significant as the Others
no matter in history or its architecture. In fact, after World War
Il, it is still being used as a military facility by the ROC government
till a few year ago.
The hill on north side of Gong-Tze-Louw is formed by several features of rock and shaped a cliff which becomes a remarkable sight of view in this area.The scenes of the HO-Ping island, Patoutzu, and Keelung islet are sight in front of the hill. ln particular, it is the best sight for the beautiful sunset of Patoutzu one of the Eight Scenes in Keelung.
